Note: Your mobile device must meet BLE minimum requirements: Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) version 5.0 or above.

Steps to Pair Device:

1.       The Pulse can be paired in three different areas of the CONNEQT app:

    • During Account Creation: After you add your demographic data, you will be asked to pair your device.
      • Pairing can be skipped at this stage if your device is not nearby and completed later.

    • From the Home Dashboard (available only if skipped during account creation): Tap the ‘Pair Device’ button.

    • From Device Settings: Open the hamburger menu > Tap ‘Device Settings’ > Select ’Add Device.’

2.     Before pairing, ensure the following:

a.      The CONNEQT app has Bluetooth permissions enabled. (Some Android devices make require location permissions enabled as well).

b.     Your mobile device’s Bluetooth is turned on.

c.     The Pulse is awake (screen is on).

d.     The Pulse and your mobile device are close to each other.

e.     The Pulse is not in use (e.g., charging or taking a reading).

3.     The app will search for available Pulse devices and display a list of nearby devices.

4.     Use the last four digits of the MAC address (found on the back of the device) to identify and select your Pulse.

Troubleshooting Failed Pairing Issues:

  • Issue: The mobile device was moved away from the Pulse,

o   Resolution: Keep your mobile device and Pulse close to each other until pairing is complete.

  • Issue: The Pulse was previously paired and not removed from Bluetooth settings.

o   Resolution: Navigate to Settings > Bluetooth, tap the Info icon next to the Pulse, select ‘Forget This Device,’ and confirm. Your device will appear as “Pulse_” and the last four characters of your MAC address.

  •  Issue: The Pulse is currently paired with another mobile device.

o   Resolution: If the previous device is inaccessible, factory reset your Pulse by pressing and holding both buttons for 10 seconds.  Note: A factory reset erases all data not yet transferred to the CONNEQT app. Use this as a last resort.
